Hard disk crashed

My 29 GB of data contained in a 40GB hard disk crashed last month. I was able to recover 21.6 GB out of it till now.. Still striving!! :D

Back to the good old interface.. n even more!

Well, that show's the good-old Windows 2000 Style interface running on my Windows XP. Off-late, I've been busy trying out some Live versions of Linux (Ubuntu). I happened to restart my system due to some connectivity problems. Thank goodness, it made me realise how pathetic is the state of my PC. I fetched in a few diagnostic utilities and other few XP tweaks to my system. It so happened that I forced myself to disable the visual styles to boost up the performance of my computer a little. Still I find the boot-up is very slow.. (probably could be due the large list of programs running on my system tray :-D). However it's high time that everyone must realise that there's a vast future for Open Source.. In the above picture, you can see my affinity growing towards Open Source applications.. I've decided to learn some PHP, MySQL and do some research in Python and C under Linux in the near future.

End Semester Exams.. Commencement

My end semester exams are about to commence on 7th of November and lasts till 22nd. The exams will be during the afternoon session (i.e. from 2 PM to 5 PM)..

Mechatronics.. Yay!!

I scored 95 on 100 in Mechatronics assessment! Can you beleive it!! Guess I'm getting to feel my own strengths ;-)

Law of Algebra: You never catch on until after the test.

Just had 4 hours of class today. Marketing Management class got cancelled as the CD batch and other students who didn't write the exam last week needed to write the assessment today.

Jaggy was browsing internet in class for the first time with his GPRS enabled mobile :-)

Gosh!! Have an assessment in Mechatronics tomorrow... Have lots to see [n hopefully study]!! ;;)
